Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels provides hot, nutritious lunchtime meals to adults with disabilities and those who are temporarily or permanently homebound in the Henderson, Nebraska area.
All meals are nutrient-dense and provide a variety of fruits, vegetables, protein, and whole grains.
Some participants have found it beneficial to meet with the dietitian prior to starting the program to determine food preferences and any special needs. The dietitian can also review the menu with you at that time and address any questions or concerns.
Meals are available Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Each meal costs $6.13 and you are billed at the end of the month.
If a meal is not needed for a particular day, for any reason, call the Nutrition Services department by 10 a.m. to notify staff so you will not be charged for a meal that day. (402) 723-4010.
Contact Tyler Martin at (402) 723-4512 ext. 4029 if you have any questions.

Patient Feedback
“I would highly recommend Henderson health care to anyone. I had my son at the hospital and the Doctor, and nurses were absolutely amazing! It was one of the best hospital stays I’ve had. I didn’t have one negative thing to say about my stay. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and I felt like they really went above and beyond for me and my family!”
