Health Fair

Our Health Fair will now be held every month! Take advantage of these discounted health screenings on the 2nd Tuesday at Henderson Family Care and the 2nd Thursday at Sutton Family Practice from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Available Tests Include:

• Comprehensive Blood Test: $60

A helpful and common test that measures several important aspects of your blood. Our providers often use it as a routine test, and it can also help diagnose, screen for, and monitor certain health conditions. Measures your sugar (glucose) level, electrolyte and fluid balance, kidney function, and liver function. Includes a lipid panel.

• Prostate Specific Antigen: $35

PSA testing is often used by our providers for men who report prostate symptoms to help determine the nature of the problem. Measures an antigenic enzyme released by the prostate and found in high concentrations in the blood of men with prostate cancer.

• Thyroid Stimulating Hormone Test: $35

A TSH test is used to find out how well your thyroid is working or if you have gland problems. The test can tell if you have hyperthyroidism (too much) or hypothyroidism (too little) in your blood.

• Hemoglobin A1C: $25

Our providers use an HbA1c test to identify diabetes or keep track of how well it is being controlled. The test estimates how much glucose, or blood sugar, has been in your bloodstream over the last three months.

• Hemoglobin A1C & Microalbumin/Creatinine: $45

A microalbumin/creatinine urine ratio test looks for signs of kidney disease or kidney damage in people who have a high risk but don't have symptoms. This test is for people with diabetes.

• Vitamin D Test: $40

Our providers use a Vitamin D test to measure the level of Vitamin D in your blood to make sure you have enough to keep your bones healthy and your muscles, nerves, and immune system working normally. Having low levels of Vitamin D is a common problem that can lead to bone disorders and other medical problems.
