Dr. Lindsey Nelson, DO
Dr. Lindsey C. Nelson, D.O., joined the provider team in July of 2021.
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduate received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from AT Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018. Dr. Nelson fulfilled her residency at Lincoln Family Medicine.
A native of Nebraska, Dr. Nelson is excited to return to a rural community where she can perform family medicine. “I knew very early on that I wanted to practice rural family medicine. Henderson Health Care offered the type of practice I was looking for. Full-spectrum family medicine is what really appealed to me. I’ve had great experiences with the Henderson Health Care staff and administration. It has been a really good fit for me.” She joins an experienced provider team consisting of: Dr. Vanderneck, Dr. Ohrt, Allison Bauer, PA-C, and Cortney van den Berg, PA-C, Joshua Reiners, PA, and Ronda Clark PA-C.
In her free time, Dr. Nelson enjoys sand volleyball, concerts, and of course, Husker Football. She, her husband, Justin, their son, Leo, and their daughter, Olivia, live in Henderson and love being part of this community, while serving the surrounding communities.
