Phase two of the three-phase Hospital/Surgery Expansion & Renovation Project is nearing completion after 13 months of construction. Phase two focuses solely on the construction of the brand-new surgical suite set for turnover in mid-October. The suite features two new operating rooms, four pre/post-operative rooms, a post-anesthesia care unit, a nurses station, and a family consult room. This state-of-the-art addition will continue to expand the procedures across many specialties, positively impacting the care our patients receive close to home.

The surgical suite is one of the newest in the state and we have doctors and surgeons eager to use it along with the latest technology at their fingertips. The third and final phase will immediately follow the surgical suite and will conclude in the early summer of 2024, wrapping up nearly 36 months of construction and renovation on the HHC campus. This phase will feature a new laboratory, pharmacy, sonography, family hospitality, and waiting room.
