On the evening of March 4th, 378 attendees gathered at the Holthus Convention Center in York for the Henderson Health Care Foundation’s annual fundraiser; GROWTH Gala. Guests entered the beautiful venue to stunning decorations and centerpieces. A silent auction with over 125 items sat perfectly in the ballroom catching the eye of every passerby. A gourmet dinner was served by Kerry’s Restaurant & Catering followed by delectable desserts. The fun began with the live auction featuring several once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Midwest Dueling Pianos took the stage and captured the attention of the audience with an entertaining and interactive performance. The night wrapped up with Fund An Item, raising $22,000 to help offset the cost of a brand-new Siemens Cios Select C-Arm Machine for our new surgical suite. Thank you to every sponsor and donor who helped make this event a successful evening of fundraising, fellowship, and fun. In total, $151,000 was raised to benefit Henderson Health Care’s Surgery/Hospital Expansion & Renovation project.
In the midst of this fundraising effort, the Henderson Health Care Foundation hired its new leader. Carli Reiners was hired in early February as the first Executive Director of the HHCF. Carli joins the Foundation with previous knowledge and experience in fundraising and hit the ground running with the GROWTH Gala.

The Henderson Health Care Foundation will hold its next GROWTH Gala on March 2, 2024, at the Holthus Convention Center in York, Nebraska.
