Job Summary: Dietary Service Aide at Henderson Health Care Services
Henderson Health Care Services (HHCS) is seeking a Dietary Aide to join their team. This role involves portioning food, serving meals to residents, and assisting with maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. The position offers a supportive and collaborative environment, ideal for someone who enjoys working with others and is willing to learn on the job. Day shift is 5:00 am to 1:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
-Portion food onto residents' plates and serve with a positive attitude.
-Clear dirty dishes and sanitize dining room tables.
-Ensure proper hand hygiene and maintain personal cleanliness.
-Set up and serve meals according to dietary plans.
-Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, including washing floors, cleaning refrigerators, and sanitizing equipment.
-Replenish supplies and assist with daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
-Learn and adhere to therapeutic diet plans for residents.
-Attend dietary meetings to ensure continuity and efficiency of services.
-Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Experience in a dietary setting is preferred but not required (on-the-job training provided).
Must be able to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
A positive attitude and willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
